World Environment Day
Calling all nature lovers! Join Brisbane City Council at Boondall Wetlands Environment Centre to celebrate World Environment Day from 10am-2pm on Wednesday 5 June.
Hear from local Brisbane authors about reconnecting with nature and resilience through weather events, take guided walks through the wetlands and connect with local conservation groups to learn how you can make a difference.
There’ll be something for everyone at Brisbane City Council’s family-friendly event including free native plants, live music, wildlife displays and eco games for the kids.
Parking is available onsite and there is additional parking at the Entertainment Centre (in car park 3) with a free shuttle bus running between the Entertainment Centre and the Environment Centre throughout the event.
Entry is free and all are welcome.
