About the Green Heart Pop-Up’s
As part of Brisbane City Council’s Green Heart event program, we’re popping up all over Brisbane with free native plants and Green Heart Ranger kids’ activity bags to give away.
At each Pop-Up there’ll be 500 native plants to giveaway thanks to Council’s free native plants program, so be quick.
And if you’ve ever wondered what your household carbon footprint is you can take the Brisbane Carbon Challenge at the Pop-Up’s to learn about your household’s emissions and receive tips on how to reduce your emissions and save on bills.
Getting started with your free native plants
Sometimes it’s hard to know where to start, what to plant and where. Do you need potting mix? What about fertiliser? What kind of soil do you have in your backyard?
