Brisbane City Council’s grant guru

Brisbane City Council have a funding finder service where you can search for all available grants that may be relevant to your organisation. This includes Brisbane City Council grants as well as other grants such as those from the Queensland Government and Australian Government.

Lord Mayor’s Better Suburbs Grants – NOW OPEN

The Lord Mayor’s Better Suburbs Grants program supports not-for-profit community organisations to deliver projects and activities across the city and to maintain, improve and develop community facilities. 

Lord Mayor’s Environment Grants

Provides funding for not-for-profit organisations to reduce their energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions and undertake other environmentally-friendly initiatives. Funding amounts range from $1000 to $20,000.

Community Sustainability Action Grants

The Queensland Government have ongoing rounds of their Community Sustainability Action Grants. While there are currently no rounds open for applications, familiarising yourself with this grant and keeping updated with future rounds will be beneficial for your club. Many rounds offer funding to community organisations and spaces that are improving their function while also improving sustainability through initiatives such as reduced resource use, like installing solar power or increasing energy and water efficiency.

Gambling Community Benefit Fund – NOW OPEN

This fund allocates investment to not-for-profit community groups to enhance their capacity to provide services, leisure activities and opportunities for Queensland communities.
