Kennard Street Park Community Planting
This planting event is part of ongoing restoration works at Kennard Street Park in Corinda and will support the long‑term recovery of the riparian corridor.
One of the key Oxley Creek Cat’s Claw Creeper eradication sites, this project is jointly funded by the Australian Government’s Natural Heritage Trust under the Urban Rivers and Catchments Program and the Brisbane Sustainability Agency.
Participants will also have the chance to see the leaf mining Jewel Beetle in action and learn about its role as a biological control agent used to help suppress Cat’s Claw Creeper.

Time: 1:00pm-3:00pm, Saturday 18 April 2026
