Brisbane City Council’s WasteSMART Brisbane Awards are back for 2025 – recognising everyday heroes across our community who are going above and beyond through composting, recycling, repurposing, and innovative waste reduction initiatives.

With 12 award categories and over $4,000 in prizes, there’s a category for everyone – from passionate individuals to schools, early learning centres, businesses and community groups.
