RACQ Volunteering Community Planting
Join RACQ and Brisbane Sustainability Agency at Col Bennett Park in Algester for a hands-on community planting event! There are three days of planting that you can be a part of – you can attend one day or register for all three!
Over three days we will be transforming a section of the Sheep Station Gully by planting native species to help slow and soak up stormwater and create valuable habitat for wildlife in this flood-prone area. It is a great chance to get outdoors, meet neighbours and be part of a project that builds a more resilient community.
This planting series is a great opportunity to:
• Make a positive impact on your local environment
• Support urban biodiversity
• Meet like-minded volunteers
• Get your hands dirty for a great cause
