Healthy Cities Community Planting

Join us for a free community planting day at Kookaburra Park on Saturday 12 September 2026.

Proudly funded through the Bupa Healthy Cities Program, this planting event will support the restoration of Stable Swamp Creek, helping to improve wildlife habitat and strengthen ecological connectivity within the Oxley Creek Catchment.

The event will mark the launch of the Kookaburra Park Bushcare Group, which will support ongoing restoration in the park. Supported by the Oxley Creek Catchment Association and Brisbane City Council, the group will provide opportunities for the local disc golf community and other park users to actively participate in bushland maintenance on a monthly basis.

Parking: Street parking is available on Freney Street, Bale Street and Tramore Street. Parking is also available at Brothers St Brendans Rugby League Club.
