Wondering what belongs in your green bin? Visit one of Brisbane City Council’s Green Bin Pop-ups at selected Brisbane shopping centres and chat with our friendly team.
Test your knowledge with our fun Bin Game, learn what can and can’t go in your green and yellow bins and pick up practical tips to get the most from your green waste recycling service. Remember, always place items loose in your bins, never in a bag.
Whether you’re new to green waste recycling or just want to make sure you’re doing it right, our team is on hand to answer your questions, share handy resources and explain how recycling your green waste helps turn organic material into valuable compost instead of sending it to landfill.
