Clean Up Australia Day
Join countless community members, neighbours and friends to help make our local parks, streets and suburbs clean and green on Clean Up Australia Day on Sunday 5 March.
On behalf of Brisbane City Council, Brisbane Sustainability Agency is organising the community-wide clean up across the city for the country’s largest community-based environmental event.
In 2021, more than 24,000 volunteers filled 45 skip bins with waste across 397 sites in Brisbane, so if you’d like to be involved this year, join a clean-up near you or create one for your community.
You can also organise a clean-up with your workplace on Tuesday 28 February or your school on Friday 3 March.
Once you’ve finished your clean up, drop your rubbish to one of the skip bins provided by Veolia and Cleanaway at different locations across Brisbane. Find your nearest skip bin here.
