Be among the first to explore this exciting new lifestyle destination, Archerfield Wetlands District Park at the Community Open Day from 9am to 1pm on Saturday, 28 September 2024.
There’ll be something for everyone at this brand-new green space at Durack. Kids will delight in the state-of-the-art playground and water play area, face painting, and lawn games, while adults can relax in nature and enjoy a picnic on the community event lawn.
Get your hands dirty with Greening Australia by joining their tree planting activity and while you’re there, take a tour of Oxley Creek Catchment Association’s new base of operations.
Whether you’re planting trees, playing on the new playground, or simply soaking up the natural surroundings, this family-friendly event has something for everyone.
Hot tip: be sure to wear comfy shoes and a hat if you want to explore the neighbouring Archerfield Wetlands Discovery Trail.
